With the participants of the Eurovision 2025 grand final confirmed after the two semi-finals, the EBU has now revealed the running order for Saturday’s show.
Hosts Switzerland had previously been drawn to perform 19th in the grand final during March’s Heads of Delegation meeting. Show producers have now determined that Norway will open the show, whilst Albania has the honour of closing the show.
Eurovision 2025 grand final running order
- Norway
- Luxembourg
- Estonia
- Israel
- Lithuania
- Spain
- Ukraine
- United Kingdom
- Austria
- Iceland
- Latvia
- The Netherlands
- Finland
- Italy
- Poland
- Germany
- Greece
- Armenia
- Switzerland
- Malta
- Portugal
- Denmark
- Sweden
- France
- San Marino
- Albania
How is the running order decided?
The Eurovision running order is decided through a two-step process. First, the finalists randomly choose from a pot whether they would perform in the first half, the second half, or receive a producer’s choice — the option that gives the organisers free rein over where an act is placed in the grand final.
Producers then arrange the acts considering two main criteria (1) creating an interesting show (aka, mixing up genres and the visual flow and feel of the show) and (2) practicalities (like how long it will take to construct and deconstruct various stage props).
Countries drawing first half: Austria, Finland, Iceland, Luxembourg, Spain, Ukraine
Countries drawing second half: Albania, Armenia, Denmark, France, Germany, Portugal, Switzerland
Producer’s choice: Estonia, Greece, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, San Marino, Sweden, United Kingdom
Does running order impact a country’s chances of victory?
It is generally considered favourable to perform from a later position in the running order. Several recent winners performed in the second half of the show, including Italy’s Måneskin (24th in 2021), Israel’s Netta (22nd in 2018) and Ukraine’s Jamala (21st in 2016).
But winning from an earlier position isn’t unheard of. Sweden’s Loreen (9th in 2023), Ukraine’s Kalush Orchestra (12th), Portugal’s Salvador Sobral (11th) and the Netherlands’ Duncan Laurence (12th) all performed in the first half.
The only running order position to have never produced a winner is the second place draw, often considered “the death slot”. But remember — there’s a first time for everything!
What do you think of the Eurovision 2025 grand final running order? When does your favourite act perform. Let us know in the comments below.
My prediction for top 5 1st France 2nd Austria 3rd Switzerland 4th Israel 5th Sweden Sweden will not do as well with the televoters as they think top 10 at the most. Will pick up jury votes for 3rd place. Israel will win with televotes and pick up top 10 in jury. Switzerland will be 2nd in jury and surprise top 5 with televote. Austria will be 4th with jury and 2nd in televote France will win jury and 3rd with televote. I think san Mario will be last. I think the uk will be nearly last with the televote.… Read more »
I will be voting for Albania and Poland, all the way from Sweden
I’m just about ready for this sh!t-fest to be over today
Why bother to write about your unnecessary opinion at fan page?
Go back to your basement
If contestants performing and delivering in similar way to semis, my televotes from Austria will go to: Albania, Finland, Germany, Switzerland, Greece and Israel. Pity, that Australia’s and Czechia’s staging destroyed their entries.

5th Italy
6th Israel

No more Swedish win; Sweden’s song is really overrated
Generally agree with most of this, apart from think France will be much higher
This year it’s so open, usually at this point you know it’s down to one or two countries, this year you could make a valid argument for approx 7 songs to win Some thoughts… Switzerland will damage Frances televote domination and therefore we won’t see France win. Estonia will impact Swedens televote domination and we wont see Sweden win. This I think leaves us with 3 countries that could score really well with both jury or televote, Austria, Finland or Albania. Unfortunately while I love it I don’t think Albania is mainstream enough to get enough support across the board.… Read more »
Austria is the only country with winner vibes in my opinion. Sweden is the most fun, positive and catchy but it’s not really exceptional and outstanding. Austria brings emotions and has creative staging. I agree with what you wrote pretty much on everything in your voting analysis. I just personally think Estonia will have more than 200 points from the televotes, Israel will do very well in both voting and may end up in top 3 unfortunately and Switzerland will end up around 12-15 places as its a little bit too boring and overshadowed by France.
Considering how much love juries have for Sweden always whatever it sends I fear they have voted massively for Sweden also this for mediocre joke entry… Pity because I would have liked to see another country winning like France that I haven’t seen winning in my life and who puts good effort and also Austria, Finland, Greece , Spain and others who have way better songs than Sweden. But Swedish television has the victory for granted and they are making announcements about where and how they will host ESC 2026…
I don’t have a real favourite this time, but some songs I like. Lucio Corsi (Volevo essere un duro) won’t win, but the song is nice. The same is true for Abor and Tynna (Baller). Also not a winner, but I guess I will listen to that song after this year as well. I think the bookies are right and that KAJ will win. It is a funny song and it is a great achievement that KAJ was the winner of Melodifestivalen. Well deserved! No more Mans Zelmerlöw! I guess Austria will be second and Finland will be third. Erika… Read more »
Lucio won’t win but I think it will be a revolutionary performance in sense that other countries are going to start putting subtitles on non english songs.
I really would like Lucio to inspire other true artists to do what he does: just write song from heart and sing. With lyrics and meaning. With authenticy. Focused on song coming from heart rather than creating a mix of songs in one. Artists who can sing from heart keep the attention and they don’t need to overanalyse every second of performance to keep the attention. We are attracted to feelings and authenticity. This year Eurovision went way too far into effects and over the top attention-seeking scripted performances. And because of that I wish luck to Italy, Portugal and… Read more »
I feel like Greece, Switzerland and France are deep lyrics sang from heart. Just elevated a step above Lucio’s with the staging.
No more Swedish win; Kaj’s song is really overrated
Kaj is great, stop being a hater
He has the right of his opinion. Not all people have to like the Swedish overrated joke entry . The swedish television SVT is already making announcements on how they will host next year’s contest. All this stinks
He has the right of his opinion. Not all have to like the mediocre act of Sweden every year. There are other countries that have much better entries
Thank you
I completely agree with you
I will vote for Italy; it is a really simple but nice song
It’s free for all.
I think the biggest win is the friendships some of them created.
JJ and Claude singing rise like a phoenix together, so cool.
I just saw it. Thanks for letting us know. Claude is such a great guy. No diva behaviour! Always open for an interview or little talk. And JJ has an incredible voice. He seems a very humble guy.
I did the math, here are my results:
Finland or Austria will win. Albania is the dark horse, but very unlikely
Austria wins the jury vote. Sweden, the televote
San Marino will finish last
The largest discrepancy between jury and televote will be of Estonia’s
Top 10: Finland, Sweden, Austria, Albania, France, Switzerland, Israel, Greece, Germany and Estonia.
UK is finishing last. Song sounds like what a painting made in MS Paint looks like.
Completely agree to top 10. Most of the countries will be close enough. There is no clear juries winner (max 270 points) or tele winner (max 270 points).
are they using fake cheers from the crowd during the climax of the performances? i was watching some of them on youtube, and it sounds really fake,
if so, gosh that’s pathetic
Yes, especially during a certain country’s performance.
Portugal’s Napa – Deslocado going viral in many charts, it’s insane! Top 10 finish?
Nothing can burn the doll When she has an espresso macchiato, Everyone cries tavo This diva’s brave, powerful She flies like a bird of pray, Jumps into the pool to play, She won’t go under She’ll row her way to success, Like pagan women of Latvia more or less, She sing to me that she’ll definitely be coming Living is so easy When her name is Gaja Baa la la la la la la la ler She’ll sing that while others burn her homeland She’s a survivor and she’ll take you on a journey Come and dance to her vibe… Read more »
What a woman
I prefer Estonia to win rather than that hoe from Finland.
It’s a hoe down baby!
Classic zio fan
classic fan of Isl*mic terr*orists
You had a typo, IOF aren’t isl*mic, they are zio terr*rists
You’re very disrespectful but it’s not surprising at all. Enjoy the party while it lasts.
100%
Israel or Austria to win
Alb?nia must have won the televote or been real up high for being put in that spot, as it is not a typical closing song. It reminds me when il Volo were the last to perform in their final.
Yep https://x.com/EuroTripPodcast/status/1923392767490699731?s=19
Its been 36 years since the closing song won the contest, and last year Austria sang last, she hadnt done that well in her semi, so its not a given they did well. Singing last is not an advantage even though many think so. When it was only juries the last sung somg ofte won, but as I mentioned last time it did was in 1989
Which was in Switzerland!
Is it me or Malta dropped soooo much for everyone? There’s something wrong with her staging but I can’t figure out what it is exactly. I almost feel like they… tried too much :’( I miss her NF performance, it felt so much more fun, fresh and authentic. Also unpopular opinion: I preferred Erika’s UMK performance. I only had chills for Austria, France, a little bit Greece and for the first time I looooooove Albania! She’s probably the most charismatic performer of them all this year, even though I didn’t get winner vibes. I did get winner vibes with Sweden… Read more »
Is Ebu doing anything about is rael vote manipulation? Last year my country gave them 12 points and there’s absolutely zero chance of that. We don’t really vibe with that type of song and moreover we have a conscience.
Not mad at Portugal between 2 girly bops this year, so hopefully not as mediocre in televote like last year, Iolanda deserved better!!!
OMG I don’t know if this is true, but I heard Celine’s private jet has been spotted in Basel. Please be true. Please.
I mean, normally I don’t approve the use of private jets, climate change etc., but let’s be real. Celine Dion is more important than the future of humanity.
Ich Lomme > Cicciolina
Oh dear
Ich KOMME > Cicciolina
Ich Komme > komme
Finland / Sweden / Austria.
France has a good voice, boring song and the final part it looks like she has a bathroom accident. Oh and Bardella 2027 bby!!
Poland is phenomenal, she deserves the top 5 of the jury’s vote. Unfortunately, the jury will not appreciate such a talented vocalist. It’s a pity, because it’s a really good presentation.
Copium
Hahahahaha
Yes, but it isn’t a vocals contest, or a presentation contest. Justyna is a goddess, though.
She is trying too hard. To me, it’s a turn off
Poland: too shouty and chaotic..
Everything and the kitchen sink…
ESC community again living in the bubble. Mas*urbating weather Sweden or Austria will win. Neither one will win. Austria was lackluster in the semi and has an awful running order. Sweden fun, but we saw that there are many more polished songs. It is another 2021. There won’t be a runaway winner. Remember that televote loves ballads more than jury does joke-y songs. It will be France/Switzerland/Greece.
Tbh I consider Käärijä’s song from 2023 as a joke-y act and he still managed to grab 150 point from jury. I’m expecting KAJ to do as much because their music is unifying and they sing pretty well (better than Käärijä, I might add). I wouldn’t underestimate them, really. France and Switzerland could possibly do better with the jury but not Greece (despite singing beautifully, the performance is forgettable and jury takes that into consideration).
Lol Greece
Switzerland and France, singers with zero charisma and weak songs lmao if the juries didn’t vote politically, Israel would have easily won.
You wouldn’t recognize charisma even if it hit you in the face.
you don’t even know what charisma is….
Greece won’t happen but I feel like it deserves more attention. The vocal and the presentation is great. The songs also pretty good but maybe not everyone’s cup of tea…
Sweden is overrated but Austria deserves to win.
France has no chance to win because the song is mediocre
Austria is amazing in studio/video version. However, both JJ’s vocal and live performance are definitely not for top 5, so you have to be realistic. Austria will be top 10, maybe even top5 thanks to jury voting thinking of his studio version, but winning…not gonna happen.
It is the first time since 6-7 when I do not actually have a favourite to win. I guess it makes it all more exciting. I am expecting surprises in the top 10.
Lol, Justyna nearly fell after getting off the lines that she was hanging on. What a mess of a performance, the Jury will most likely rank this bottom 5. Embarrassing for such an act to be in a final.
your comment is fit for the trash bin.
Truth hurts, does it John?
Neither it’s truth, neither it hurts. It’s just hate. Pure hate.
And that may hurt only you -and that’s truth
Well said, Marcin has some problems and likes to insult and make fun of others.
I see that you are prejudiced against the Polish pro-opposition, right Marcin?
I just don’t like crappy acts repressing my country, that’s all. It’s called being objective.
Why do you hate Justyna so much?
Still salty about the restraining order she put on you?
Even if I liked Swedish entry; I don’t think it can win because it doesnt give winner vibes and don’t want another Swedish win.
I support Austria, Malta and Italy.
My favorites are Austria, Italy and Netherlands.
Can’t get the hype on Sweden or Finland.
it’s okay for people don’t get the hype about certain things
Does this mass spamming comments with several names really work “Thomas” or do I refer to you as “Roger” as in your comment above?
126 downvotes wtf lol people need to relaaaaaaax
How is that even possible????
I hope Finland wins!
Why do I feel like she’s not taking it? I had winner vibes back in UMK, not anymore and something tells me people won’t connect with her like they did with Kaarija 2 yrs ago…
even Estonia is better than this hoe
Wow such misogyny from the g3n0cidal fans
Misogyny were practiced by eurofans last year, you were booing an innocent girl.
?
Innocent… lol.
I didn’t boo her, I just changed channel when the g3n0cidal country was on
I wonder if the jury score will leak this year like it did last year with nemo scoring over 300 points.
In in the last 24 hours Austria is scoring best in all polls
Is anyone from WiWi covering the jury show?
Things are looking good for Albánia, and well deserved.
A thought: why do gays (we are all gays here come on) love over sexualized acts so much??? I mean, don’t you f**k? … New gayish people need a bit of the 80s in their lives and asses.
You have someone in their 80s in your ass???
Stop generalizing. Australia was my penultimate place (ahead of Israel ofc). Wow, singing about c*m while being shirtless so we can admire his nice body (while Erika had to cover her butt), revolutionary. Malta is so hyped because ”yass kween slay boots the house down momma or whatever”.
she lied…
My absolute favorites or coup de coeur are obviously France and equally Austria and Finland. I had a complete change of heart with Erika as the weeks went by and just get this incredible adrenaline rush every time I see her own that stage unapologetically. Here is how I’m going to dispense my 20 votes: France – 4 Austria – 4 Finland – 4 Italy – 2 Greece – 1 Albania – 1 Switzerland – 1 Ukraine – 1 Poland – 1 Malta -1 Will not score Sweden or Estonia because as much as they’re enjoyable as polished acts of… Read more »
France : 24 ! Allez Louane !
Vive les mamans.
Ooohhh how nice!!.. i feel like puking
Thats what your mom said when she saw you for the first time 13 years ago. You people are so ridiculously toxic it’s quite frightening. I hope you’ll feel happier in your life some day
LOL
cringe
Sweden will not win because of the runniing order…
but… it may win if you’ll vote for it
If you don’t want Sweden to win, don’t vote. Simple.
It won’t if people won’t vote.
From Spain my 20 votes they go to Greece
I will also vote for Greece but also for Italy; according to CNN reviews; Italy’s song is under the radar and it is underrated
Italy? You can’t vote for your own country.
Italy is awful.
With Sweden and France back-to-back in the singing order, the producers are probably thinking that KAJ will win the televote, while Louane will win the jury vote. Will they both get 500+? It’s a possibility.
France won’t even get 300 points lmao
My running order:
1. Spain
2. Ukraine
3. Norway
4. Luxembourg
5. Greece
6. Estonia
7. Poland
8. Italy
9. Iceland
10. Israel
11. Finland
12. Lithuania
13. Austria
14. Armenia
15. United Kingdom
16. San Marino
17. The Netherlands
18. Albania
19. Switzerland
20. Sweden
21. France
22. Denmark
23. Latvia
24. Malta
25. Portugal
26. Germany
It looks like Sweden has it in the bag. A 42% winning chance is very unlikely to be turned around. It is a shame because I would like to see something a little different winning, but I guess there is a tried and tested methodology and a system at play which everyone knows and accepts so it is what it is.
No; Sweden will not win. Last year; Croatia has 52% winning chance.
But last year there was a serious possibility that Israel would win, hence the orchestrated jury vote.
I was so wrong with this comment!
Swedish television is already making multiple announcements on how they ll host next year’s contest. Arrogance at the fullest and total di sgust
I really hope they get a good lesson one day
Given the amount of jury bait in the final this year, I think the televote will prove more vital. Aside from Israel and Ukraine’s guaranteed handouts, the only real televote-aimed song is a bit… Crap… So that means a lot more available to the more competitive entries. I think it’ll be a much more interesting result this year regardless of who wins
I could see Lithuania getting top 10 in both jury and televote to finish about 6th or so.
That would be a dream, but I am realistically hoping it stays within the top 14-15. Lithuania could finish lower, but I would be surprised if it punched above its weight,
probably in the bottom 6
I don’t think that Ukraine would get many high points in televote for their horrible song
Austria is currently polling most votes in the two main polls the last 24 hours. It’s more popular than people think with the televote I think
Baby Lasagna and Kaarija released a song today btw
Who cares about these talentless clowns?
If Latinoamerica together with Brasil ,vote much for Spain and Portugal, televote is clear,
All of that will be counted as RoW, which is just 12 and 10 for each.
Latin American countries do not have many people watching Eurovision, and even less people paying to vote for it. In Brazil one vote is very expensive, and most of the people don’t even know about the contest. Plus, people from Latin American countries aren’t super crazy about Spain and Portugal. Btw the EBU published a list with the countries that voted the most as “Rest of the World”, few latin American countries were listed.
Guys, Sweden will not win because of the running order…

It will win only if you will vote for it.
If you want to go to Albania (Germany, Italy) next year, or Poland (!) or Finland or Austria… vote for it!
No matter the running order, vote for who you like the most and I really don’t feel like people like Swedish act the most… why whould WE let it win, then? Don’t vote. Simple.
Just saw a video of Björkman praising Zjerm and that’s why he put it last as it is real music and wanted to end with a class act, but in the process he just admited that he is the one making up the order and not the local host boradcaster. Like we did not know, but he just admited it
That Swedish snake has been poisoning and destroying eurovision
Just saw a video of Björ_kman praising Albánia and that’s why he put it last as it is real music and wanted to end with a class act, but in the process he just admited that he is the one making up the order and not the local host boradcaster. Like we did not know, but he just admited it
Sweden (23)? I don’t know Rick, it looks fake.
I think people tend to overlook at the running order aims to make the best watchable show. Also, certain songs do draw 1st half or 2nd half so flexibility is slim and then there are prop heavy songs and ad breaks to fit in. The public tend to be a bit fickle. It’s a long, long show. You need something decent at the end to keep people watching. Also, how many votes will the public cast at a fee. I don’t think an early slot is bad. If people vote for songs between 1-13, will they spend and spend again… Read more »
Yes!
Yeah, totally agree! My family’s gonna be watching it tomorrow, and they haven’t heard any of the songs from it, and this lineup will be entertaining for them to watch
Anyone else not really arsed about the running order and just looking forward to a great night? Anyone…?
I don’t give a s*** and think people are overthinking it and getting too caught up in comspiracies.
I think a lot of people here are overestimating the result obtained by Estonia in the semi final. I think people realized the guy can’t sing and the song, while being fun, is also of very low quality. I don’t think the production is trying to overshadow Tommy Cash. I think he already did it himself.
The Emperor‘s got no clothes on!
Albania and Finland are more overrated, as they won’t even be in the top 10.
Alb*nia and Finland are more overrated, as they won’t even be in the top 10.
My prediction:
1 Sweden
2 Netherlands
3 France
4 Finland
5 Austria
I can see 4 of those 5 being up there, but I think the Netherlands will struggle to get a top 10 result
Really just hoping for a top 15 position for UK at this point it’s my favourite of the year, if we come bottom again then I’m giving up on Eurovision and think BBC should withdraw
Nonsense, the BBC has to come up with a proper entry. Just like any other broadcaster. This year’s entry is adequate in terms of vocals and presentation, but is not really a “song”, with all these different tempos. If the BBC would send Adèle or Ed Sheeran, the UK would undoubtedly have the winning song. It’s just a matter of taking Eurovision seriously.
Adele or Ed Sheeran? Umm, no thanks!
We don’t want those bores, please.
You have Bright Light Bright Light. Rod is puuuurfect for ESC. Convince him.
The UK would be criticised and ridiculed immensely if Bara Bada Bastu was their entry in English. Nothing wrong in taking a risk. Each to their own as they say. Nothing wrong with the entry, its theatrical, not to everyones taste i respect that, but there are people who do like it, would be nice if respect was reciprocal. Some education in being objective is essential.
Well how is a serious artist supposed to take it seriously if they make him/her jump through the hoops like in a cheap reality show?
They are worth a place in the top 10 in my opinion. Vocally they are the best singers this year. It’s the UK themselves that have not backed their own entry. The credibility of the 3 girls and their talent is outstanding. The song is very British, nothing wrong with this. Be proud of their achievement regardless of the result.
UK will be dead last in the televoting because it’s just a very awful song. It may get some points from jury because vocals are good though.
